Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) is the eighth public university in Malaysia, and the first one initiated by the aspirations of Wawasan 2020. Led by its vice chancellor, Professor Dato' Dr Mohamad Kadim Suaidi, the senior delegation recently and firstly paid an official visit to Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University on 7thDecember, 2015,for the purpose of collaborative discussion, 5 guests warmly welcomed by the Professor Yonghai Gui, Vice President and Dean of Shanghai Medical College, Fudan University, are Dr. Haji Mohammad Hirman Ritom Abdullah- Board Member, Board of Directors, UNIMAS, Prof Mohd Fadzil Abd Rahman- Deputy Vice Chancellor (Student Affairs and Alumni), Prof Dr Ahmad Hata Rasit- Dean, Faculty of Medicine and Health Science, Mr Thian Foong Fatt- Assistant Registrar, International Affairs Division.
On behalf of School of Basic Medical Science and Public Health, Fudan University, Professor Qiqun Tang and Wen Chen attended the meeting, both parties have the ideas to further bilateral collaborative engagement during the meeting.
